WHAT SBC OFFERS:
Commitment to excellence by SBC directors, coaching staff
and its student athletes.
Effective communication and organization (on time practices,
advance announcements of game schedules, travel
arrangements/accommodations, and clearly stated financial
obligations with accurate records). Opportunity to play
with and against the best in the country.
SBC’s
REPUTATION:
SBC's
program has demonstrated local and national credibility with
the youth basketball community for honesty, integrity and
SBC’s continued tradition of producing student athletes.
SBC's credibility among College Recruiters and Tournament
Organizers is undisputed. The program's reputation has been
earned through hard work and dedication to the principles
for which this program stands. SBC players are among the
best in the area and are actively recruited. All SBC players
receive maximum exposure to College Recruiters during
Tournaments and Camps. This is made possible by the SBC
National Director and his personal relationships and
credibility with college recruiters. Successful promotion of
SBC players is a full time job that requires active and
aggressive advocating on behalf of the student athlete. Each
SBC player will receive their fair share of playing time and
a commitment from the SBC organization to help each athlete
achieve their goals.
WHAT SBC
EXPECTS OF YOU:
SBC
requires athletes to be dedicated to their game as well as
dedicated to their academics, which means that each player
must be academically qualified to play for SBC. Parents are
expected to provide the necessary support to ensure his or
her daughter’s success as an SBC player. Parents must
ensure that athletes attend every practice and are on time.
Parents must meet their financial obligations in a timely
manner. As with our athletes, parents are expected to
demonstrate good character and integrity in their actions.
Negative criticism will not be tolerated. SBC maintains a
positive environment for its staff, athletes and their
families.
